Each one of us, as workers in the Lord’s harvest, experience the work of the Spirit differently, all for the same goal. Some are planting, others actively harvesting, while still others do the unique work they are called to. Each work and worker is essential as we remember that we are each the sower, yet God is the grower.
As we grow together under His nurture, we make strategic decisions and plan accordingly as good stewards. These next steps include our upcoming Convening Annual Conference as well as new leadership opportunities as ministers are ordained and other seasoned leaders emerge. In line with this, we are blessed to announce the Transitional Leadership Council of the GMC has approved Rev. Alan Beasley as our new President Pro Tempore effective immediately. He has been faithfully serving as Dean of our Cabinet and also served as the Chairperson of the Transitional Conference Advisory Team. Alan is a proven and trusted leader, and we are blessed to have him in this role. We are excited about the next steps the Lord is leading us into in this new season of our North Alabama Provisional Annual Conference of the GMC. Let us continue in diligent prayer for the Lord of the Harvest to continue His work in and through each of us as we focus on Him and His will above all else.
